DENTAL HEALTH CARE

Hey guys welcome back to my blog. Today's topic is about dental healthcare - i know so cliché right. However they may be certain details that we  overlook that direct us to a dental visit for a tooth removal surgery. It doesn't really need to get to that.
Your mouth is a window into the health of your body. It can show signs of nutritional or general infections so it is best that we take great care of it.
It is very easy to overlook dental care and the importance of a dentist until you need your teeth plucked out. To avoid that you may need to take care of your teeth by doing the following :-
BRUSH
Brush your teeth twice a day AFTER breakfast and before bed with a fluoride toothpaste.
DITCH THE TOOTHPICK
Toothpicks may remove excess food and plaque stuck between your teeth but trust me they are not good for you. In the long run they seperate your teeth and create more space leading to more room for infection.
However invest in a good dental floss and use it atleast once a day.
TOOTH BRUSH
Replace your toothbrush every 3-4 months.
DENTIST
Book your dental appointment atleast twice a year to check if you have anything amiss that may need a quick fix.
MOUTHWASH
This is very important as it keeps bacteria out of your precious mouth. However you can make one at home. You will need:-
A container
½ cup filtered or distilled water
2 tsp baking soda
2 drops tea tree essential oil
Baking soda will settle to the bottom of the jar when not in use, so be sure to shake mouthwash before each use.  Swish about 2-3 teaspoons of this homemade formula in your mouth for a minute or two. As with any mouthwash, try to avoid swallowing this while gargling.
