PRODUCT REVIEW : BLK OPL FOUNDATIONS
HELLO BEAUTIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hope i find you all well and healthy. So today am reviewing the "new" Black Opal Blk/Opl foundation range in the stick cream and liquid foundations.
In 2017, Black Opal changed its face and brand, introducing the new Blk Opl range. Although i noticed a change, Black Opal/ Blk Opl still claims that the products are still the same but the look and brand had changed. This beauty company will always be at the core of my heart as it has the first foundation i owned and stuck with for many years until i changed it last week lol. So lets take a look at what these foundations are like.
BLK/OPL True Color Skin Perfecting Stick Foundation
Blk/Opl says "Maximum coverage. Matte finish. For normal to dry skin types.
This cream foundation is bae and lasts forever even if you apply make up on a regular basis. The coverage is massive and really does what is says, covering spots, hyper pigmentation and everything else. I like the fact that you can use it to highlight and contour for a nice beat and its amazing for dry skin. However if you have oily skin like mine, it may be very difficult to find the amazing features of this product as it leaves you looking like oil. It says that its matte, but well the truth is its not matte. Out of 10 i would give it a 7. It comes in 16 different shades.
What i didn't like about it is that it made my skin breakout so much and i would look so oily after at least 2 hours. However i blame myself since it clearly states that it is for normal to dry skin.
This foundation is also great especially for people with dry, spotless skin. The coverage is light to medium hence it wouldn't work well with pigmentation and anything alike. Matte? Not so much but with tricks here and there it can be for a little while. It also lasts forever and comes in 12 shades.
What i didn't like is the fact that it was creasing at times, maybe it needs a primer that is bae. However it is a great foundation. I would give it an 8.
So the next time you decide to get this, be on the look out, if it is indeed for your skin type.
