2017 brought along with it some interesting style trends. We saw a couple of retro styles that our mothers and grandmothers used to rock making a strong come back and to be loved by almost everyone. So lets take a loot at the fashion style trends that rocked 2017.
OFF SHOULDER TOPS
The off shoulder top is a retro style that made a serious come back with every style blogger making a feature with it. It came in different styles but the themes was the same OFF-SHOULDER.
FLORAL PRINTS
It was a "SPRINGFUL" 2017 with floral being more common than usual. Celebrities and style gurus like Bonang Matheba also embraced the trend.
STRIPES
Zebras were proud of us human beings for bringing back the stripes and fusing it in our fashion trends of 2017.
SOCK BOOTS
The classy sock boot was also a huge trend that went viral. A lot of fashion conscious people made use of this style. Well am yet to get myself a pair or two.
THIGH HIGH BOOTS
THE THIGH HIGH BOOTS REALLY REALLY REALLY ROCKED THE 2017 FASHION SCENE. It is by far the sexiest and most versatile shoe one can own. Can be paired with shorts, dresses, denim jeans, skirts, this style was every celebrity's subtle favourite.
LONG HAIR
INCHES BOO!!!!!! Everyone wanted or had long hair in 2017. Nicki Minaj, Cardi B and Khanyi Mbau became some of the Queens of long hair with Nick and Cardi even stretching to more that 46 inches of hair.
GUCCI
AND THE DESIGNER LABEL OF THE YEAR IS......................G U C C I. Boy this was used and misused with everyone owning something gucci. I even had a cap and slopes which were a gift lol but oh well gucci has flooded the market with both original and fake ones.
THE BOB HAIRSTYLE
Aside from the long huuur dont cuuur, lol The Bob Hairstyle also rocked 2017, with celebrities like Kim Kardashian even further fueling the need to get it.
