SUNSCREEN

Hey beauties!!!

So today is #SkincareThursday and sunscreen is the order of business.
I know that you have probably heard that if you are dark skinned or African or black like me lol,  that you don't need sunscreen. Well that's a lie. Every human being of any colour needs to be protected from the sun.
The African climate is very hot and temperatures in winter can even above 20 degrees with the sun shining  brighter than ever. Although that may be a good thing, the sun's radiation and UV rays damage our skin a great deal causing skin issues like age spots, sun burns, hyper pigmentation and even cancer. Because of these we need to be extra careful and protect ourselves.
Sunscreen is the way to go. It prevents you from the above mentioned "natural disasters" lol. I am still suffering from hyper pigmentation from overlooking sunscreen and walking around in the sun a lot. If someone had told me sooner, I wouldn't have.
It may take several years for the skin to get back to normal after sun exposure, but it can be achieved in a short space but that's a story for another day.

For effectiveness and more sun protection, you can buy spf 30 going upwards.  My favourite brands would be Avon, Nivea and Square Deal.
